Housekeeping Matter:
New Policy for an Old Blog, and more

No more Obits.

This is not The Death Blog anymore.

(I'll be answering some of the comments left on the preceding post . . . including some thoughts concerning the new Whatsit . . . in due course. Suffice it to say, I was somewhat overwhelmed by the response and, if it doesn't sound too maudlin, touched by it as well. If anyone has any questions about it, or anything else, post them in the comments)

To Those Who May Be Interested . . .

This blog is closing at the end of October.

I want to thank everyone that has contributed to it since 2004.

From this point forward I'll be flying solo, as I did in the first few months of its existence.

Beginning in January, myself and some former contributors will be starting a new venture on Tumblr; hopefully not too similar to this one, but one which might have a familiar ring to it.

Thanks for visiting; the few who still do.
